Directory of Institutions Offering ALA-Accredited Master's Programs in Library and Information Studies

ALA Scholarship Program

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign offers a distance learning opportunity called LEEP. Master's degree candidates may complete an ALA accredited degree without on-campus access to the University of Illinois. Requirements for this program may be found on the GSLiS Admissions web site.

The University of North Texas School of Library and Information Sciences will begin its fourth cohort for a masters degree of study in the Fall of 2005. The cohort will be limited to forty students. The Minnesota Program is available to persons in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Information and application materials are available at the UNT SLIS web site.
