Finding Fiction
Ideas for What to Read--Databases

Below are links to two databases which will help you find fiction.
Click here to go to the SDLN catalog
Use the catalog to see if Briggs Library has a book of your choice.

Fiction Connection

In this database you can find books similar to ones you have already enjoyed.  Your searches yield a list of titles and a cluster of similar terms for further exploration.  You can also look for good reading under the categories topic, genre, setting, character, location, and time frame.

FictionFinder

Search or browse divisions such as fictitious characters, imaginary places, settings, summaries, and fiction categories.  Use the “Find it locally” icon
to link to the Briggs Library catalog and
see if a book is in the library’s collection.
