Professional Activities

Elizabeth has been active in the South Dakota Library Association and the Mountains Plains Library Association. She served as editor of the SDLA newsletter, Book Marks, from 2000 to 2004. She was elected Treasurer for the 2002-2003 term and has served on several committees including chairing the Auditing and the Bylaws committees. Elizabeth has also served on several committees on the Mountain Plains Library Association and chaired the Membership Committee. Elizabeth is active in the Great Plains Sociological Society and is a member of the Midwest Sociological Society and the American Sociological Society.

Educational Activities

Elizabeth is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Sociology at SDSU with specializations in deviance and race/class/gender.
