Global Journalist - This magazine reports on the state of press

Review - From the University of Oregon's College of Education, the Media
Literacy Review is a bi-annual online resource for educators and others interested in children,
adolescents, and media.
Media Resource -
A connection between science and the media that provides help for journalists in

- Created and maintained by journalist and mathematician Robert Niles, this page
offers starting points such as "Finding Data on the Internet", "Statistics Every Writer Should
Know," and "Questions to Ask a Candidate" in addition to links to
numerous other sites.
Scout
Report - Published weekly on the web and via e-mail, the Scout Report provides a
mechanism to stay informed of Internet resources. It is compiled by librarians and subject matter experts.
The Internet Scout Project is located in the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison, and is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation.

Television News Archive
- This collection, owned by Vanderbilt University, is "the world's most extensive and complete archive of television news. The collection holds more than 30,000 individual network evening news broadcasts and more than 9,000 hours of special news-related programming."
Video tapes can be loaned to individuals for research and educational uses.
