Arrangement and Content
The Alumni Files sub-group is
made up of very small artificial collections of material by or about
certain alumni. Material is added as it is unearthed. No attempt is made
to systematically collect this information. Once material relating to an
alumnus is added, facts about the person are researched and added to a
database. These facts include birth/death dates, degrees received, dates
of instruction and other relevant notes. The files themselves consist of
such materials as obituaries, correspondence and clippings, among other
things. The files are each alumnus varies.
