Background
The Northern Plains Biostress
Laboratory is a state-of-the-art research and teaching facility
belonging to all citizens of the Northern Plains region. It represents
a new tool to combat biostress—which includes drought, floods,
blizzards, insects, disease, soil erosion, and a host of other
environmental and biological phenomena that stress plants, animals and
humans.
