Renewing your library materials
Begin from the
library’s homepage (http://lib.sdstate.edu).
Select
Library Catalog.
Click
My Library Card at the top of the
screen (see the screen shot below for the red
arrow)
Enter the 14-digit
barcode number from the back of your SDSU ID card in the "Library
Barcode/ID" box. (Ignore any alphabetical characters printed under the
barcode). Enter your last name in the “Password” box. Click “Logon".
(Note: if you have changed your Aleph password, use your new password).
Click Loans.
To renew all eligible
items, click Renew All to the top
right of your title list.
To renew individual
titles, click the number to the left of the title; then click
Renew.
Do not use online
renewal for Interlibrary Loan Materials. To renew Interlibrary Loans,
please call 605-688-5573.
When the screen refreshes itself, the new due dates will display. If a
due date has not changed, it has not been renewed. See General
Information below.

General Information About Renewals
Most items may be renewed a maximum of 5
times.
If you have one or more overdue items or
you have $5.00 or more in fines, you cannot renew your books online.
Please bring your books and SDSU ID card to the circulation desk to
renew them.
Items that have been requested by another
patron cannot be renewed.
Reserve items may not be renewed.
Periodicals/Serials may not be renewed.
Renewals for interlibrary loan materials (ILLs)
should be request through your ILLiad interlibrary loan account.
