Briggs Library. Help and instructions for searching the SDLN Catalog can be obtained by clicking on the help icon on each page while searching. Books and media resources are arranged on the shelves according to the Library of Congress classification system. Subject Headings and Call Numbers for Modern Languages Listed below are selected broad subject headings that can be used to search the SDLN Catalog, or possibly other databases, for materials related to criminal justice. General call numbers for locating books are listed for each subject heading. The use of more specific subject headings or keywords is recommended for most topics. E-mail the SDSU librarians or call (688-5570 or 800-786-2038) for help with search terminology.
