publications may be used to locate
articles relevant to economics and business in journals, magazines, conference proceedings,
books, and other sources.

Business Source Premier
Designed specifically for business schools and libraries, this database provides
full text for more than 8,800 scholarly business journals and other sources,
including full text for more than 1,100 peer-reviewed business publications.
Offers information in nearly every area of business including management,
economics, finance, accounting, international business, and more.
EconLit.
1969+
This online version of the Journal of Economic Literature (available
via
JSTOR) provides
subject indexing and abstracts of journal articles, books, dissertations,
and working papers.
LexisNexis Academic
Provides online access to full-text and bibliographic information from
newspapers, news and business resources, newsletters, wire services, broadcast
transcripts, and biographical sources. Business resources include business news
journals, company financial information, SEC filings and reports, and industry
and market news.
LexisNexis
Statistical
An index to statistical data produced by the U.S. government; international
intergovernmental organizations; and professional and trade organizations,
business organizations, commercial publishers, independent research
organizations, state government agencies, and universities.
ProQuest
ProQuest allows access to many bibliographic and full-text databases.
The Business Module and the Research Library Core are perhaps of most relevance.
However, other modules may be appropriate for certain topics. Many of the
journal articles are full-text.
Regional Business News
(EBSCOhost)
Incorporates full-text coverage of 75 business
journals, newspapers, and newswires covering metropolitan and rural areas within
the United States.
Social Sciences Citation Index.
2001+
A multidisciplinary database of citations and abstracts from journal
literature. It can be used as a conventional author-subject index, or it can be
searched by cited author or paper. It covers an extremely large amount of social

This resource provides a subject, title, and author guide to over 2

provides access to the full text
(pdf) of recent dissertations and theses completed at SDSU.
EBSCO MegaFile
EBSCO
MegaFILE is a multi-disciplinary database providing full text for nearly
12,000 total publications and indexing & abstracting for more than 16,000
publications. MegaFILE is comprised of
EBSCO's Academic Search Premier, Business Source
Premier, MasterFILE Premier and Regional
Business News databases. This database is updated daily on EBSCOhost.
FirstSearch
Access to many indexing, abstracting, and informational databases. These
databases allow the user to search for magazine and journal articles and other
types of materials on a wide variety of topics.
Ingenta
A database indexing the contents of thousands of journals and magazines in a
wide range of disciplines. Full text articles are available on a fee basis.
JSTOR
Provides full-text web access to the back issues of a number of scholarly
journals in the economics and business fields.

International Bibliography of Economics. 1952-1995.
This international, classified bibliography provides access to articles,
pamphlets, books, and official government publications on economics/social
studies in a variety of languages. Shelved on the library's main floor
in the reference collection (HB75.A11 I5).
