Course-related materials are placed on library reserve by faculty members for use by their students. These materials may by supplemental or required materials including books, copies of journal/magazine articles, pamphlets, tapes, sample examinations, lecture notes, and other materials that will facilitate student learning of specific course-related information.  Library reserve materials are available in two different collections, i.e., the physical (paper) collection and the electronic collection.

Electronic Reserve Materials (E-Reserves)

The electronic reserve collection provides electronic access to digital versions of journal/magazine articles, book chapters, lecture notes, and other items.  These materials may be accessed from anywhere via the Internet.  However, the faculty member who placed the items on electronic reserve must provide the password to access them.

The physical reserve collection is available at the Circulation/Reserve counter in the lobby.  Most items in this collection may be borrowed for use in the building for durations of two hour or four hours and some may be taken out of the building for durations of overnight to one week as specified by the faculty member who placed the items on reserve.
