Circulating
Books
As you exit the stairwell to
the upper level, the circulating book collection (books that can be
checked out) is directly ahead. Hanging from the ceiling directly between
the rows of shelves are signs directing you to specific ranges of call
numbers. In addition, posted on the end of each shelving unit is a
sign with specific ranges of call numbers for books contained on those
shelves. Books and media resources are arranged on the shelves
according to the
Library
of Congress Classification System.
Directly to the left of the
stairwell exit on the second floor is a
photocopy
machine.
Turn left at the stairwell
exit and take a walk to
the famous blue couches. The library has 61 blue couches for
lounging, studying and dreaming.
Restrooms on the second
level are located directly behind the stairwell.
