Information
Desk
The most important area in
the Reference Room is the Information Desk, staffed by library
faculty. A sign behind the desk gives current Information Desk
hours. Librarians at the Reference Desk are there to
provide you with assistance and are on duty every day of the week during
the Fall and Spring Semesters. Please don't hesitate to ask for help!
Selected reference books are
kept on the shelves behind the Information Desk. Please feel free to
go behind the desk and browse these materials.

Computer
Workstations
Directly across from the
Information Desk are more computer workstations. The library has
over 50 public workstations throughout the building, connected to the
Internet. Locate information using the library's
online catalog, surf the Web, or access a host of other electronic
information resources. These computers also contain Microsoft Word,
Excel and PowerPoint.
In the Reference Room, there are several
computers along the south wall that provide access to the Internet as well
as additional electronic resources.
Also along the south wall
are the audio/visual materials which include videos and DVDs. These
materials are arranged by call number and can be located using the
library
catalog. AV equipment, including tape/record players/CD and
TV/VCR/DVD machines are located throughout the Reference Room. Headphones for the AV equipment may be borrowed
